Storybook Endings: Real Fairytale Endings for Our Storybook Brides

It’s that time again—blog time! Today, we are featuring our Storybook bride, Kelsey, and her destination wedding to the mountains!

Kelsey and Stephen were expecting their first child, and they enjoyed the day celebrating with family and friends at their baby shower. After the shower, they invited their close family to enjoy some dinner and drinks (non-alcoholic, of course, for Kelsey) at their favorite brewery, Five Cities Brewery. As they were wrapping up the evening, Kelsey wanted a picture with her siblings and nieces to commemorate the special day. Right when the photo was being taken, Stephen jumped in front of the camera and proposed. Kelsey eagerly said, “Yes!” Now, they not only had to prepare for the arrival of their little one, but they also had the joy of planning a wedding.

When the time came for her bridal appointment at A Storybook Ending, Kelsey was disappointed that her mother wasn’t able to join, as she lived out of state. Thankfully, she was able to join virtually as Kelsey’s sister had her on a video call, and Kelsey’s consultant, Christi, made sure to include her in the experience. At the start of her appointment, Kelsey chose a few dresses to try on, and from there, Christi worked her magic and pulled two additional dresses based on the information she had gathered from Kelsey. As soon as Kelsey tried on “the dress”, she fell in love and knew it was the perfect dress for her wedding. Just to make sure, she tried on one last dress, but nothing could compare. When she put the original dress back on, it felt completely magical. She confidently said “Yes!” to the dress, and Christi also helped her select the perfect veil to compliment her dress. Looking back on her experience, Kelsey is so appreciative of Christi’s intentionality and care as she ensured her mother felt like she was a valuable part of the process. She fondly describes her experience finding her dress as, “calm, relaxing, and magical!” After finding her dress, Kelsey received a bottle of wine from Storybook, and she and Stephen decided to save it to enjoy together on their first anniversary!

On September 22, 2023, Kelsey and Stephen were married in Estes Park Colorado. The mountain scenery provided the most beautiful backdrop for their ceremony, and the weather was nothing short of amazing. With their closest family surrounding them, the day was perfect, and they ended the evening with a sunset photo session.

Kelsey, you looked simply radiant at your wedding! Thank you so much for trusting Storybook Ending to help with all of your bridal needs. We wish you and Stephen all the best and many happy years to come!

xoxo,
