We know shopping for your wedding dress comes with a lot of questions - and that's completely normal! Below are some of the questions we hear most often. If you don't see your question here, feel free to call, text, or message us anytime. We're always happy to help!
What should I bring to my bridal appointment?
The most important things to bring are your favorite people and your beautiful self!
If you'd like, you can bring a hair tie or clip so you can easily try on veils and accessories. As for undergarments, don't stress! Our gowns are made with incredible structure and support, so bras and crinolines are typically not necessary.
When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?
We recommend beginning your dress search about 10-12 months before your wedding date.
Most special-order gowns take approximately 4-6 months to arrive, and you'll also want to allow time for alterations. If your wedding is sooner, don't panic! Any of our gowns can be purchased off-the-rack, so there's no need to worry.
What if I have no idea what style of dress I want?
Perfect! You're actually in great company.
Many brides come in with an open mind and discover that their dream dress looks completely different than what they expected. Our stylists are experts at helping you narrow down your preferences and find the gown that feels like you. Just trust the process!
Can I bring children to my appointment?
We absolutely love little ones! However, we've found that bridal shopping isn't always the most exciting activity for your children, and they can become restless during appointments.
Since choosing your wedding dress is such a special moment, many brides prefer to leave little ones at home if possible so they can fully enjoy the experience without distractions.
How many guests can I bring?
Our bridal areas comfortably accommodate 4-6 guests.
If you have a few extra loved ones you'd like to include, we completely understand! Just keep in mind that seating may be limited, and some guests may need to gather around the room. For Vault appointments, we allow up to 4 guests.
One friendly piece of advice after 36 years of serving brides: the people you bring should be your biggest cheerleaders. Sometimes a smaller, supportive group makes decision-making much easier and more enjoyable!
What is the price range of your bridal gowns?
Our main showroom gowns range from approximately $1,600 - $4,500, with most brides spending around $2,000.
If you'd like to stay under $1,500, we recommend booking a Vault Bridal Appointment. The Vault features beautiful off-the-rack gowns ranging from approximately $599 - $1,599.
Knowing your price point before shopping helps us guide you to the best options and ensure a stress-free experience.
Do I need to purchase my gown the same day?
Not at all! We want every bride to feel confident in her decision. While the majority of our brides actually say YES during their first appointment, the choice is always yours.
That said, we do offer our Love at First Sight Bridal Cash promotion during your first visit, so if you're hoping to take advantage of that special offer, you may want to come prepared to say "yes" if you find the one.
How does payment work?
For special-order gowns, we require a 70% deposit at the time of purchase, with the remaining balance due when your gown arrives. We do offer payment plans by request, so feel free to discuss the options with your stylist.
Vault gowns are purchased in full and taken home the same day.
Do you offer plus-sized wedding dresses?
Yes! We are proud to carry a beautiful selection of bridal gowns in sizes 6-28. Every bride deserves an amazing shopping experience, and our collection is carefully selected with that in mind.
Do you offer alterations?
We do not perform alterations in-house. Once you find your gown, we will provide you with a resource list of local seamstresses you are welcome to reach out to.
Do you carry veils and accessories?
Absolutely! We offer a beautiful collection of veils, jewelry, headpieces, and other accessories to help complete your bridal look.
Can I bring food or drinks into the store?
To help protect our gowns, we ask that outside food and beverages remain outside the store.
However, we do offer beverages and refreshments through some of our upgraded appointment experiences, and drinks are also be available for purchase at our on-site coffee shop.
Should I tip my bridal stylist?
Tipping is never expected, but it is always appreciated.
If you feel your stylist went above and beyond to make your experience special, you'll have the option to leave a gratuity when checking out.
Do you run sales or promotions?
We do! Throughout the year we offer special events, trunk shows, and promotions. Be sure to follow us on social media or ask your stylist about any current specials during your visit.
One ongoing promotion is our Love at First Sight Bridal Cash in our main showroom. On your first visit, you will receive a special offer toward the purchase of your bridal gown that is only valid that day. Since this discount only applies on your first visit, you may want to be prepared to purchase in order to take advantage of saving some money on your dream wedding gown! Because of this, we encourage you to bring the people you need to help make your decision on your first visit. (Please note, this discount is not valid on our already marked-down dresses in the Vault Sale Room)
I can't decide on an appointment type - can I book multiple bridal appointments?
To ensure that every bride has access to our appointment times, we allow only one active bridal appointment reservation at a time.
